Bottomless audacity seems to have been had by two inhabitants of Paphos. Not only did they conspire for fraud, but they executed this fraud inside the police station itself. However, they were noticed and ended up in the station's detention facilities.
They are a 26-year-old and a 41-year-old, who are now charged with conspiracy and impersonation. The 26-year-old appeared yesterday at the Paphos Police Department, pretending to be a 41-year-old who was placed by the court with restrictive conditions and should appear at the Paphos police station for this purpose.
The 26-year-old was arrested as soon as the scam became known, and the 41-year-old was subsequently tracked down and arrested. Police investigations continue.
