The Communication Centre for the Social Insurance Services of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance and the Welfare Benefits Management Service of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare is operational from 8 March, through the pancyprian number 1450, upon completion of staff training.
It is noted that, for the purpose of regulating its smooth operation and ensuring the best service to the public, the Centre will operate on a trial basis for a period of 2 months, for the purpose of familiarizing and adapting both the public and the competent officers.
The Contact Center will be open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The service operates free of charge for calls within Cyprus, while, for calls from abroad, citizens will be able to communicate through the chargeable service of the 22008020 number.
The Communication Center, which will act as a single point of information and service for the above services, was developed in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology Services of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, while it is an important step in the process of modernizing and optimizing the service provided by the state to citizens and businesses.
