The Council of Ministers decided yesterday to lift the obligation for travellers from China to show a 48-hour negative PCR test for COVID-19 upon entering the Republic of Cyprus, following an assessment of the situation.
As the Ministry of Health states in today's announcement, the measure for the demonstration of a negative test by travellers from China, adopted last January due to an outbreak of COVID-19 infections in the Asian country, was lifted by a decision of the Council of Ministers on February 22, 2023, following an assessment of the epidemiological picture recorded in China.
