Civil servants in their new evaluation system will not only be judged on their abilities, skills, and work attitudes and values, but will also be able to judge their bosses.
These are mentioned in a circular of the Director of the Department of Public Administration and Personnel Elena Economidou Azina who gave clarifications, in relation to the new regulations concerning the evaluation of civil servants.
Specifically, a new regulation also introduces an arrangement for annual anonymous evaluation of the Heads of Departments including the General Directors of the Ministries by the employees, including the employees of indefinite duration.
The evaluation will concern their knowledge of their field of work, their interest and creativity, their service relationships, their behaviour, their administrative skills and their effectiveness.
The evaluation will be made on a special form that will be drawn up in the next period by decision of the Minister of Finance.
