Ten deaths and 2,667 new cases of the coronavirus were announced by the Ministry of Health.
Specifically for the week of January 13 - 19, 2023:
- 10 deaths announced
- They concern:
- Man, aged 72, who passed away on 12/01/2023
- Man, aged 88, who passed away on 13/01/2023
- Man, aged 74, who passed away on 14/01/2023
- Man, aged 90, who passed away on 15/01/2023
- Man, aged 74, who passed away on 16/01/2023
- Man, aged 76, who passed away on 16/01/2023
- Man, aged 76, who passed away on 17/01/2023
- Woman, aged 81, who passed away on 17/01/2023
- Man, aged 81, who passed away on 17/01/2023
- Man, aged 87, who passed away on 19/01/2023
- Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1,280.
- 90 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in shsypy hospitals
- 18 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/5 intubated, MAF: 13)
- 3 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized by intubation due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 68,093 diagnostic tests were performed
- 2,667 new cases were detected (total cases 640,729).
- Positivity rate in all tests 3.92%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 1,959 molecular tests were performed
- There were 205 positive cases
- Positivity rate 10.46%
Total number of rapid antigen tests:
- 66,134 rapid antigen tests performed
- There were 2,462 positive cases
- Positivity rate 3.72%
Private initiative:
- 1,497 molecular tests were performed, 86 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.74%)
- 42,411 rapid antigen tests were performed, 2,187 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.16%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 23,723 rapid antigen tests were performed. 275 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 15,456 rapid tests, 161 positive cases identified (positivity rate 1.04%)
Education
- Primary Education: 1.004 rapid antigen tests, 4 positive cases detected (positivity rate 0.4%)
Other
- Nursing homes: 5,669 rapid antigen tests were performed, 105 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.85%)
- Closed facilities: 1,594 rapid antigen tests were performed, 5 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.31%).
