TUS AIRWAYS - STRENGTHENS CONNECTION BETWEEN CYPRUS AND THE MIDDLE EAST

TUS Airways' air travel to the Middle East region is being boosted by increasing its fleet.

An announcement by the company states that "TUS Airways, the largest airline in Cyprus, reveals today, Tuesday, December 6, the first phase of its new network for the summer of 2023. Specifically, the company immediately increased its fleet of aircraft to enhance air travel from Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean region, offering new services to popular destinations and increasing flights on existing routes, with the aim of giving visitors even more options when traveling."

It is added that "as of March 27, 2023, TUS Airways will continue flights from Larnaca to Paris, following this year's successful summer schedule with 3 weekly flights. The airline is also strengthening its services on the new winter route between Larnaca and Heraklion, adding a third flight every Sunday from March 26, 2023."

According to the announcement "the airline will further expand the number of flights offered between Larnaca and Tel Aviv, with 11 weekly flights. In addition, there will be a flight up to 4 times a week connecting Paphos with Tel Aviv."

It is noted that "with a vision to become the leading airline in the Eastern Mediterranean region, TUS Airways will also expand its services from Tel Aviv to Greece with new flights to Heraklion and will proceed with the expansion of the winter destination of Athens for next summer".

TUS Airways "will also continue flights to Preveza, while continuing to operate throughout the year the route between Tel Aviv and Düsseldorf, Germany".

The airline "will announce very soon the next phase of its summer plan for 2023, with new destinations and even more flights on its current route network."

Ahmed Aly, CEO of TUS Airways, said that "after a successful 2022, where the company established itself as the largest Cypriot airline, contributing to the tourism, economy, investment and air travel sectors of the Republic of Cyprus, we are announcing our plans for 2023".

He added that "from Cyprus we aim to add more flights to our key markets in Israel, Greece and France, while other new destinations will be announced soon.
