Today, the trial of the premeditated murder case against a 74-year-old man, who is accused of the murder of his wife, committed last December in Tremithousa, will continue.
At the last hearing, the 74-year-old's defence lawyers asked for an extension of time for some procedural issues and for the formulation of some facts, a request with which the Prosecution agreed.
The Court therefore set the case for today, while also ordering that the 74-year-old remain in custody and instructing that the report be prepared by the Welfare Office.
The 74-year-old faces a charge of premeditated murder but according to what has been said before the Court there is a possibility that he will change his answer from non-admission to admission provided that he is now charged with manslaughter.
