The Paphos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP), with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and through European funding programs, continues to invest in digitalization. In this context, it proceeded to another innovation with the creation for the first time of a digital area map with pilot placement initially in the communities of Steni, Kathikas and Kritos Terra.
Through the digitization of information and the creation of an electronic map, visitors and all users are now provided with an innovative, rich, smart and interactive information, while on the other hand important statistical data are collected. These maps are based on google maps, provide online information on community points of interest, licensed accommodation, recreation centers, viewpoints and more.
According to a relevant announcement, the Paphos ETAP will evaluate the effectiveness of this action in the coming months while examining needs in all municipalities and communities of the province.
