Eight coronavirus deaths were announced by the Ministry of Health, including six in the last week. At the same time, 3,460 new cases were identified with the positivity rate amounting to 4.9 %.
8 deaths announced
They concern:
- Man, aged 71, who passed away on 22/10/2021
- Woman, aged 71, who passed away on 28/12/2021
- Man, aged 72, who passed away on 08/12/2022
- Woman, aged 75, who passed away on 08/12/2022
- Man, aged 90, who passed away on 09/12/2022
- Woman, aged 89, who passed away on 12/12/2022
- Woman, aged 82, who passed away on 12/12/2022
- Man, aged 89, who passed away on 13/12/2022
- Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1,250.
- 77 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in shsypy hospitals
- 9 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/2 intubated, MAF: 7)
- 1 patient who ceased to be infectious continues to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 70,657 diagnostic tests were performed
- 3,460 new cases were detected (total cases 625,562).
- Positivity rate in all tests 4,9%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 2,034 molecular tests were performed
- There were 162 positive cases
- Positivity rate 7.96%
Total number of rapid antigen tests:
- 68,623 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 3,298 positive cases
- Positivity rate 4.81%
Private initiative:
- 1,552 molecular tests were performed, 102 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 6.57%)
- 45,025 rapid antigen tests were performed, 3,050 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 6.77%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 23,598 rapid antigen tests were performed. 248 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 14,919 rapid tests identified 158 positive cases (positivity rate 1.06%)
Education
- Primary Education: 224 rapid antigen tests, no positive cases detected (positivity rate 0%)
- Secondary Education: 686 rapid tests, 3 positive cases detected (positivity rate 0.44%)
- Special Schools: 122 rapid antigen tests were performed, no positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0%)
Other
- Nursing homes: 5,196 rapid antigen tests were performed, 64 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.23%)
- Closed facilities: 2,451 rapid antigen tests were performed, 23 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.94%).
