With the new year and especially from January 15, the reopening of the inpatient wards of the Polis Chrysochous Hospital is expected, the Minister of Health announced during a meeting held at the Municipal Megaros Polis Chrysochous.
Michalis Hatzipantelas said that nine of the ten requests set by the institutions of the Chrysochous apartment have already been implemented, while the last of them, which concerns precisely the reopening of the inpatient wards, is being implemented with the new year.
"We have agreed," he stressed, "that by January 15, everyone will think of ways to further strengthen the Polis Chrysochous Hospital. We will study in particular whether this can become a specialized center as is the case with the Troodos Hospital. We must all think for the good of the region and for the good of the people."
The reopening of the inpatient wards of Polis Chrysochous Hospital was the last request of the local authorities and the participants in the meeting expressed their thanks to the Minister of Health and the SHSO for this positive development.
