BEGINNER HANDBUILDING CERAMIC COURSE

The Makers Space, Tala

November - 1st and 22nd

6 Sessions, 2 hours per sessions, held every Tuesday and Thursday over 3 weeks.

You will learn how to make your own makers mark, create several pieces using pinch pot method and Japanese kurinuki yunomi, coiling, horizontal and vertical slabbing, attaching pieces and creating handles and then for your final project, to create something big.

2 Plates

1 Coffee Cup (2 if time allows)

1 Something Big

All pieces are made using stoneware and if you choose to return for a 2 hour glazing session, an additional fee applies for glazing lesson, glazes and 2nd firing. All pieces will then be totally functional and food safe as well as dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe.
