LIMASSOL WINE FESTIVAL - PUBLIC TRANSPORT FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS

This year we are going to the Wine Festival by bus!

As part of its participation in the European Mobility Week, the Municipality of Limassol has arranged for the visitors of the Wine Festival, which starts today, September 17, to be transported free of charge, not only from the other cities but also from Limassol. Leave your cars at home, get on the EMEL buses and go for free to the Public Garden of our city, where from today the biggest public celebration will take place.

The Municipality of Limassol has made special arrangements with the Limassol Passenger Transport Company so that everyone can use the buses to go and return comfortably, safely and at no cost to the Wine Festival. In addition to bus line number 30, in which tickets for entry to the celebration will be sold, the Municipality of Limassol has taken care of two additional daily routes, from 7 and 8 in the afternoon until 10 and 11 in the evening respectively. Specifically: For bus number 30, the passenger will buy the ticket for the Wine Festival from the driver and his journey will be free. For the special route, this will be free for passengers but the ticket for the Wine Festival will be purchased by the visitor from the cash desks at the public garden entrances. The return bus will also be free on presentation of the ticket from the Wine Festival.

Seems that free tickets are possibly Limassol only, but information available confusing.   Tickets are set for adults (18+) at €5, for children/adolescents (6-18) at €3, while for children under the age of six the entrance is free.
