August 08 – 14, 2022 Excessive speed is one of the main causes of serious and fatal road collisions. With the aim of preventing road collisions and protecting the public, the Police announces an intensification of traffic controls, all over Cyprus, with an emphasis on speed limit checks. The intensified controls start tomorrow, Monday 08/08/2022 and will last until Sunday 14/08/2022, while they will also be carried out at the pan-European level, in the context of the cooperation of the Cyprus Police with the European Traffic Police Network ROADPOL.
