The Municipality of Polis Chrysochous has proceeded to the creation of appropriate infrastructure and installation for the provision of free internet on the organized municipal beaches in six points.
According to a relevant announcement by The Mayor Giotis Papachristofi, these are three points on the beach of the Municipal Beach, in two places on the beach of the Camping Site, as well as on the beach of Porto Latchi. The benefit is already available as of Sunday.
The Municipality also mentions that it has recently proceeded, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, to the purchase of modern beach equipment, beds and umbrellas, which have already been placed in 3 places on the beach of the Municipal Beach.
Finally, he says that the beach of the Municipal Beach is one of the first beaches in Cyprus, which has since 2014 the innovative autonomous system of sea access for people with disabilities (seatrack).
