PAPHOS - 3 MOTORCYCLES SEIZED, DRUGS AND KNIFE IN POSSESSION OF A DRIVER

Three motorcycles of large displacement were seized during the traffic checks carried out by motorcyclists of the "Z" group of the Paphos Traffic Police in the context of preventing road collisions, combating the phenomenon of nuisance and consolidating the feeling of road safety.

Specifically, during the traffic checks, three motorcycles of large displacement were seized, while two of their drivers were found positive in a preliminary drug test.

Also, a 32-year-old man was spotted, who was riding a motorcycle without a helmet and registration plates, while failing to stop at a policeman's signal driving recklessly and dangerously. He was then stopped by members of the Police, while in a subsequent investigation, a knife and a small amount of drugs were found in his possession and he was arrested for an offence committed in the act of committing an offence. In total, 27 complaints were made about various traffic offenses.

The targeted checks of the traffic police continue daily throughout the day, throughout the road network nationwide.
