EAC - WHAT TO DO IF YOU DISPUTE YOUR BILL

Following the extremely high electricity bills that some households have to pay, due to technical problems presented by the new EAC measurement system, the Authority through its announcement asks the public if it has noticed a large discrepancy between the meter reading and its bill and believes that it may be incorrect, to send the meter reading to the EAC in one of the following ways for investigation:

Send a MESSAGE via E-MAIL including:

  1. Customer name and customer contact number
  2. The meter reading ignoring the decimal place(s) at the end and meter number e.g. The reading is: 071062

Sending PHOTOS via VIBER including:

  1. Photo of the meter showing the consumption indicator and the meter number

2. Customer name and mobile phone number in the "Add Description" field

Send PHOTO via WHATSAPP including:

1. Photo of the meter showing the consumption reading and the meter number

2. Customer name and mobile phone number in the "Add a Caption" field
