The 13-year-old, who was being treated in intensive care at Limassol General Hospital after a car accident that occurred last night in Limassol, was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, when a single-cylinder driven by a 15-year-old fell into a ravine. The 15-year-old driver, tested positive for a breathalyzer test.
The monocab, which was driven by the 15-year-old on the road of Agios Therapontos in Alassa, despite the chapel of Agios Georgios with the 13-year-old and two other minors, 15 and 17 years old, on board, escaped from the road and fell into a 20-metre cliff. Members of the Fire Brigade rushed to the spot to extricate them.
The Limassol Police are continuing their examinations to determine the causes of the car accident.
