Sixteen new deaths from coronavirus have been announced by the Ministry of Health. At the same time, according to the announcement, 2,154 new positive cases were detected last week, with the positivity rate amounting to 3.54%.

- Woman, aged 90, who passed away on 06/07/2022
- Man, aged 86, who passed away on 13/08/2022
- Man, aged 94, who passed away on 14/08/2022
- Man, aged 87, who passed away on 15/08/2022
- Man, aged 96, who passed away on 15/08/2022
- Woman, aged 65, who passed away on 18/08/2022
- Man, aged 83, who passed away on 19/08/2022
- Man, aged 81, who passed away on 19/08/2022
- Woman, aged 90, who passed away on 19/08/2022
- Man, aged 78, who passed away on 21/08/2022
- Woman, aged 81, who passed away on 22/08/2022
- Man, aged 99, who passed away on 22/08/2022
- Woman, aged 87, who passed away on 22/08/2022

- Total number of deaths with COVID-19 as the ultimate cause: 1,168.
- 57 COVID-19 patients are being treated in SHSO hospitals
- 9 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/ 5 intubated, MAF: 4)
- 2 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized by intubation due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 60,841 diagnostic tests were performed
- 2,154 new cases were identified (total cases 576,278).
- Positivity rate in all tests 3.54%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 2,389 molecular tests were performed
- There were 182 positive cases
- Positivity rate 7.62%
Total number of Rapid Antigen Tests:
- 58,452 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 1,972 positive cases
- Positivity rate 3.37%
Tracking:
- 10 molecular tests were performed and no positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0%)
Private initiative:
- 1,976 molecular tests were performed, 120 positive cases were identified (positivity rate of 6.07%)
- 4,1320 rapid antigen tests were performed, 1,866 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 4.52%)
Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 17,132 rapid antigen tests were carried out. 106 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 9,437 rapid detection tests, 58 positive cases identified (positivity rate 0.61%)
Other
- National Guard: 290 rapid antigen tests were performed, 2 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.69%)
- Nursing homes: 4,920 rapid antigen tests were performed, 27 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.55%)
- Closed facilities: 2,485 rapid antigen tests were performed, 19 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.76%).
