The Tender for the project "Landslide Stabilization and Reconstruction of the Kathikas-Prodromi Road Section near Drousia" was officially announced by the Department of Public Works. This project aims at the stabilization and restoration of the landslide of the road, but also at the most appropriate provisions and protection measures.
Welcoming this development, Paphos MP Chrysanthos Savvides stressed that the process of signing the contracts is expected to take place in September and the execution of the works will take about 6.5 months.
"From the beginning of my term of office, I had set as my priority to promote the solution of chronic problems of the road network of the Pafos district", he stressed. "Important processes are already underway on roads in the District of Paphos, such as the improvement of the road network before Giolou, which is expected to be completed in September 2022, the reconstruction of the road network outside Nata, the works on the road network before Petra tou Romiou are progressing and finally now the works on the road near Drousia are being prepared for tender."
Chrysanthos Savvidis expressed the hope that there will be the appropriate cooperation from all stakeholders for the implementation of the project within the timeframes set.
