Handcuffs were passed by members of the Police in Limassol to a 26-year-old after they found a quantity of drugs in his vehicle.
Specifically, today at around 01:50am, members of the Limassol OPE stopped for inspection a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old man. During the investigation that followed, two green peppers were found on the passenger floor, where inside them were two nylon sachets with methamphetamine, totalling about 19.5 grams.
The 26-year-old was then arrested for an offence committed in the act of committing an offence, while further checking revealed that he was driving the vehicle with an expired student license without being accompanied by a licensed person, without insurance and a vehicle that was declared immobilized.
At the end of the investigation, the 26-year-old was taken to the offices of YKAN Limassol where he was interrogated and admitted that the amount of methamphetamine found was for his personal use and was taken into custody.
The YKAN and the Limassol traffic police continue the examinations.
