122 extrajudicial traffic complaints were made by the members of the cycling police of the Pafos district during June.
According to the Spokesperson of the Paphos Police Department and Head of the Paphos ICF, Michalis Nikolaou, in addition to the 122 extrajudicial complaints, the members of the cycling policing of the Paphos Police Department, offered assistance to the public in 22 cases, in 14 cases they helped other departments of the Paphos police department in carrying out their duties, and in 23 cases they policed various events. They also proceeded with 26 arrests of suspects.
Also, according to Mr. Nikolaou, advice was given to tourists and locals, they policed the wider area of Chlorakas for crime prevention as well as the area of Geroskipou for the same purpose, while they provided their services for the policing of football matches.
In addition, they assisted the Paphos police department in transporting detainees and carried out beach checks that the measures are being observed with the beginning of the summer season, cooperating with the lifeguards on the spot.
