The Statistical Service
(CYSTAT), for purposes of protecting citizens during provision of information
for its surveys/activities, announces the launch of an application that
enables citizens to confirm the telephone numbers used by the CYSTAT
personnel during the collection of data. The application is available on the Web
Portal of the CYSTAT (www.cystat.gov.cy). By entering a
telephone number in a relevant field, a check is made as to whether the
specific number is used by the personnel of CYSTAT for data collection
purposes and a message is displayed to the user, indicating the
surveys/activities for which it is used. For more information those
