Work on replacing safety barriers will be carried out this week on sections of the Pafos – Limassol motorway between 0900 and 1500, according to the Department of Public Works.
Specifically, according to an announcement transmitted by the PIO, the works will be carried out as follows:
On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, on a section of the (A6) Pafos – Limassol motorway, from k.p. 0+000 to k.p. 24+610, in the slow lane.
On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, on a section of the (A6) Limassol – Paphos motorway, from k.p. 24+445 to k.p. 60+550, in the slow lane.
On Thursday, June 23, 2022, on a section of the (A6) Pafos – Limassol motorway, from k.p. 0+000 to k.p. 24+610, in the express lane.
On Friday, June 24, 2022, on a section of the (A6) Limassol – Paphos motorway, from k.p. 24+445 to k.p. 60+550, in the express lane.
During the execution of the works, the express lane will be partially closed and traffic will be diverted to the slow lane. The same will also apply when work is carried out in the slow lane where traffic will be diverted to the express lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes "for the inevitable inconvenience that will be caused and calls on the public to demonstrate the necessary understanding and to comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police".
