An information and policing week with roadside inspections of trucks and buses was held between the dates of 13 – 19 June 2022, as part of the actions to reduce road collisions and increase safety on the road network.
The week of actions was conducted at a Pan-European level, by the member countries of the European Roadpol Traffic Police Network, with information on the risks caused by non-compliance with the current legislation, but also with the intensification of traffic controls for violations committed by lorry and bus drivers.
During the campaign, a total of 181 truck checks and 63 bus checks were carried out, which resulted in 67 complaints about various traffic offences, two of which concerned bus drivers.
