In the printed notices as well as in the sms notices, sent by the Cyprus Post for receipt of registered items, there is a relevant indication for the Special Service, where it applies, e.g. "PERSONAL DELIVERY". The letters with "PERSONAL DELIVERY", including those for the photo-labelling system, can be received by: (a) the beneficiary himself upon presentation of a valid, official document for identification, with a photograph in good condition (e.g. identity card, passport, driving license, etc.) or (b) a person authorised by the beneficiary, provided that this will present: (i) completed the paper authorization that is posted on the website of the Department of https://www.cypruspost.post/uploads/docs/7cf2a168d2.pdf or other written authorization containing the details of the posted authorization on the Department's website. (ii) his/her own valid official document for identification, with a photograph in good condition (e.g. identity card, passport, driver's license, etc.) and (iii) a copy in printed or electronic form of a valid official identification document of the authorising person, with a photograph in good condition (e.g. identity card, passport, driving licence, etc.). The above arrangements for the receipt of registered items with the indication "PERSONAL DELIVERY" apply retroactively to printed notifications / SMS messages, which have been sent before the publication of this announcement. |
