Another racehorse, lost his life helplessly and abandoned by his guardian, according to a statement - a complaint of the Party for Animals.
The horse, as they complain, after a nosebleed was considered to be useless and, as if it is a disposable object, it was left exposed to the sun and heat, without water, in a fenced area waiting for it to die. The Party for Animals points out in its complaint that the horse was not given any care by a veterinarian, as shown by cost in these cases.
The Party for Animals, notes that the situation in the Hippodrome has not improved, since every month more than ten horses are "euthanasia". In addition, they highlight the poor condition of the track and field, resulting in horses falling into puddles and being seriously injured and considered useless by their guardians.
"When will this vile, criminal and serious form of horse abuse stop?
Finally, we now publicly denounce the Veterinary Services because yesterday while the Party for Animals contacted an officer (payroll A14), responsible for the welfare of animals, and officially denounced the seriousness of the situation and while the horse was literally fighting for life, unfortunately nothing happened immediately and no officer of the Veterinary Services responded to visit the site immediately. Also, it is surprising the behaviour of the Director of Veterinary Services, who did not respond to our phone calls (neither on landlines nor on mobile phones). The horse unfortunately died, (we attach photos) without care, without water, and without veterinary care, because the cost, which is more important for this space, is great.
