NEW INCREASES IN FUEL PRICES ARE ON THEIR WAY

New increases are coming in fuel prices from tomorrow, despite the fact that the price of Brent is virtually unchanged internationally and is stuck at around $113 a barrel. According to information to "F", today the oil companies are expected to inform the gas station owners about new tariffs, with increases in the prices of gasoline and diesel. Depending on when the gas station owners will receive fuel at the new differentiated prices, the prices at the pump will also go up. The average price of unleaded, according to the Retail Fuel Price Observatory has now reached € 1.80 per litre, and ranges from the cheapest to the most expensive service station from € 1,727 to € 1,867 per litre, so the savvy consumer can save up to 14 cents per litre of gasoline. In terms of diesel, the average price is € 1,877 with the cheapest gas station selling at € 1,808 per litre and the most expensive € 1,929. That is, there is a variation from the most expensive to the cheapest of 12 cents per litre. There is a large fluctuation from station to station and in the price of heating oil where there is a difference of 18 cents per litre. The average price of heating oil is € 1,409. Prices range from € 1,311 to € 1,490 per litre. It is noted that the retail prices of petroleum products in Cyprus are influenced by a significant number of factors, such as the import price of products, stocks held by petroleum companies at the time of fuel import, the dollar exchange rate against the euro and taxes imposed by the state.
