The residents of Larnaca were upset by the deafening sound of an explosion that was heard shortly after 10:00 in the morning.
Many even turned to police officers to find out if there was an explosion in the city.
Philenews, contacted the spokesman of the National Guard, Christos Pieris, who said that the deafening noise was caused by the destruction of rocket engines at the Firing Range of Kalo Chorio. "There is no need for concern by the citizens," Mr. Pieris said.
It is noted that the same process will continue tomorrow at the Firing Range of Kalo Chorio.
