A 65-year-old man who runs a holiday home in Emba complained to the Police that while he was abroad in early June, a 78-year-old man breached his residence, changed the lock and commissioned craftsmen to begin maintenance work.
The 65-year-old received the relevant information from a neighbour, as he reported to the Police and a few days later he returned to Cyprus to find out as he complained that the lock had indeed been changed and that household equipment such as electronic devices and other items with a total value of about €3000 was stolen from his residence.
An arrest warrant has been issued against the 78-year-old and he is wanted.
The examinations are continued by the Pafos Police.
