From €300, the cost of burying the animal begins in the first licensed animal cemetery in Cyprus, in the area of Deftera, angels pet cemetery owner Angelos Petevinos said while speaking on the show Agenda on Active.
As he explained the cost varies depending on its size and the choice of the commemorative message.
"The rental time of the space is 3 years with the possibility of extending its stay after consultation with the owners. In case of extension, the cost is €80 for each year and concerns the maintenance of the tomb", he explained.
He said the cemetery can be used to bury dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, hens, rabbits, pigs, goats, sheep and cows and other animals considered pets.
He added that there is the possibility of constructing a personalized coffin in addition to the option of burial and tomb, while the possibility of either a marble slab with a patousitsa or a marble slab with a photo is also offered.
Finally, he noted that the cemetery is located on agricultural land in the grammar school area of Deftera.
