The rotating tower is the new marvel of 21st century engineering, launched by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava in 2005 with the completion of the Twisting Torso in Malmö, Sweden. An impressive - as well as highly functional - architectural trend that gives the feeling that the building "grows" as it rotates and "rises" towards the sky. Since then, a total of 34 rotating towers with a height of 84 to 632 meters have been built or are expected to be completed scattered in 25 countries on all five continents.
An epic project that has just been completed will become a point of reference not only on the island but also throughout the Southeastern Mediterranean and which received a double distinction in the internationally renowned European Property Awards 2021-2022 with two successful participations in the categories of Mixed-Use Development and High Residential-Rise Development. The design was undertaken by the award-winning Smithgroup company (with a presence in the field of architecture and engineering since 1918), while the architectural and mechanical design of the site was undertaken by the also distinguished architects and engineers of J&A Philippou.
The first (East) tower is expected to be ready in May 2023. The tower, more than 110 metres high - the highest building in the area - reached its top with all the construction works of the frame being completed in the second week of April while work continues both on the inside and outside of the tower.
Located in an emblematic development of such magnitude as the Ayia Napa Marina, it is no surprise that the East Tower has from the first moment attracted great interest from investors and buyers with 90% of the apartments already sold. The project in its entirety will contribute to the revitalization of the region, turning Ayia Napa into a jewel of the Eastern Mediterranean.
The East Tower includes 95 spacious and luxurious apartments of one to four bedrooms and penthouse apartment on the last two floors which have a panoramic view of 360 degrees. They are specially designed to ensure that all living areas, including bedrooms, are oriented towards the sea and adjacent beaches. With a modern and smart open plan design, the diffusion of natural light as well as the magnificent view is maximized. Indicatively, the living room has glass patio doors that are specially designed to open in such a way that the living room and the covered terrace are joined together. Taking into account the highest standards of modern architectural design, comfort, durability and functionality, the apartments are designed with high-quality technical specifications.
The residents will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of exclusive services in the tower's facilities. More specifically, the 3rd floor will have an infinity pool, cabanas and an outdoor bar, overlooking the endless blue of the sea and the marina. In addition, they will have at their disposal a fully equipped gym and SPA of 400sq.m. Being in the heart of the shopping zone, the residents will also benefit from the vibrant environment, the selected shops and restaurants of haute cuisine, such as L'Atelier Robuchon, Le Deli Robuchon and Le Sundeck Robuchon as well as Riva Beachouse, which will offer high quality services and amenities to the residents and guests of the marina.
