The Ministry of Health informs that as of Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the booster/4th dose will be administered to people over 60 years of age. Beneficiaries will be able to receive the booster/4th dose by arranging an appointment from the vaccination portal or through the walk-in vaccination centres operating in all provinces.
It is emphasized that the Spyros Kyprianou vaccination centre Limassol from Tuesday, April 26, 2022, will operate temporarily at the Linopetra Health Centre, due to sports activities.
Specifically, the strengthening4th dose is administered:
- persons over 60 years of age (by presenting an id card or passport and vaccination card),
- persons of any age living or working in nursing homes and closed facilities (by presenting an id card or passport and the vaccination card),
- health professionals regardless of age (by presenting an id card or passport, a vaccination card and a licence to practice),
- in *immunodeficient and *immunosuppressed patients regardless of age,
provided that the period of five (5) months has elapsed since the reception of the strengthening/3rd dose
*Immunodeficient and immunosuppressed patients may come to the vaccination centres of free access (walk in) by submitting a medical certificate from a Specialist Doctor (ID card or passport, vaccination card) or they can express an interest in arranging an appointment for vaccination through the attending physician, by sending a request to the e-mail address: 4dose@moh.gov.cy
*Immunosuppressed patients:
- In active therapy for solid tumours and haematological malignancies
- With a history of transplantation of solid organs receiving immunosuppressive therapy
- With a history of transplantation of primordial hematopoietic organs receiving immunosuppressive therapy
- People with hereditary immunodeficiency
- People with HIV Infection/AIDS
- People on immunosuppressive therapy including biological agents
- With regard to cortisone intake, it concerns people who have received or are receiving a total dose of ›10 mg prednisone/day (=8 mg methylpregnisolone) for one (1) month in the last six months.
- With renal failure undergoing haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am – 3pm
- Wednesday: 8:00a.m – 6pm
- Saturday: 8:00a.m – 1pm

Polis Chrysochous: Polis Chrysochous Hospital (every Tuesday 09:30a.m to 02:00p.m).
Specifically:
- The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are available daily in the free walk-in centres.
- The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is also available every Friday.
- Novavax's vaccine is only administered through appointment arrangements.
It is noted that the vaccination centres will be closed for the Easter holidays on Friday, April 22 and will reopen on Tuesday, April 26.
