As of July 25, 2022, Paphos will be connected to Athens by two weekly Aegean Airlines flights, a development which is welcomed by the Pafos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP). The flights will be operated until September 2022.
According to an announcement by the Pafos ETAP, on April 6th, a meeting was held between the Management of ETAP and executives of the Sales Department of Aegean Cyprus, in view of Aegean's presence in Paphos for the operation of a certain number of flights.
"Aegean, as announced, in the context of its continuous presence in Cyprus, invests in the expansion of its network and expands its activity, adding the Pafos - Athens route. Specifically, as of July 25, 2022, Paphos will be connected to Athens by two weekly flights, thus offering increased accessibility to the domestic and international network of Aegean Airlines", it is stated.
ETAP welcomes the flights and hopes that in the near future Aegean will reconsider the possibility of a presence in Paphos and the commencement of a regular flight schedule to and from Paphos International Airport.
