From Tuesday, April 19, at 9 a.m. all measures related to the coronavirus pandemic, taken at the crossing points to and from the occupied territories, are lifted.
In a written statement, the UN spokesman in Cyprus said that the bi-communal Technical Committee on Health considers that in view of the epidemiological situation on the island, it is justified to lift all measures in relation to COVID-19 at the crossing points from Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 9 a.m.
It also notes that the Technical Committee on Health will continue to assess the epidemiological situation on both sides. "They will exchange data every two weeks and adapt the measures to the barricades as appropriate," he says.
