In the context of the efforts to strengthen the immunity of groups of the population that are vulnerable to a serious disease, the Ministry of Health reminds that from Monday, April 11, 2022, the boosting 4th dose of vaccine is administered through open-access vaccination centres that operate in walk-in all provinces: - in people over 70, - to persons of any age residing or working in nursing homes and enclosed structures, - in immunodeficient and immunosuppressed patients, once a period of five (5) months from the receipt of the booster / 3rd instalment has passed. For the administration of a booster / 4th dose to persons over 70 years of age, an identification document (identity card, passport) and the vaccination card must be presented.
Inadequate and immunosuppressed patients will be informed by the Ministry of Health about the appointment for a vaccination appointment, or they can come to the vaccination centres of open access (walk in) by presenting a medical certificate from a Specialist Doctor. Taking the booster / 4th dose of the vaccine is optional.
