THE KEPA TEACHES YOU THE USE OF A SMART MOBILE/TABLET TYPE ANDROID - COURSES IN GREEK ONLY

The Productivity Center (KEPA) of the Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance announces that in the framework of the Project for the Promotion of Digital Skills and e-Government concerning the training of people aged 55 years and over, as well as other age groups, it has planned to conduct programs entitled Digital Skills for people 55 years old and older using a smart mobile / Tablet type Android type.

The 30-hour programs will cover, among others, Introduction to the use of a smartphone and tablet, Web Browsing, Email, e-Banking, bill payments via JCC Smart (telephones, taxes, water supply, renewal of registration certificate, hunting license, etc.), Other Internet Applications, e-Government (GHS, Social Insurance Department contribution payment system, Taxisnet and filling in a tax form, Ariadne Portal) and Social Media.

The programs will be conducted in person in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos, in compliance with the protocol for protection from the Coronavirus-COVID 19 pandemic, as shown in the table below.

The programs are offered free of charge, since they are funded by the European Union within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan and are addressed with priority to people aged 55 years and over, but also to other age groups, employees and employees of the private and public sector, unemployed, pensioners and any interested party. All participants are given a certificate of participation provided that they will successfully attend at least 75% of the duration of the program.

The project is fully funded by the European Union under the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
