A new protest to end the war in Ukraine is taking place today in all cities. Similar events in support of Ukraine are taking place in all major European cities.
Citizens gathered today at noon in the old port of Limassol to protest against the war that began 10 days ago, with Ukrainians, Russians and Cypriot citizens who stand by the people of Ukraine.
"Together we are stronger," the organizers proclaim and ask everyone to hold Ukrainian flags and symbols during the event. At the same time, a human chain has been created along the coastal front.
The same scene prevails in Larnaka, since crowds of people gathered with flags and banners in Finikoudes. In an atmosphere of deep emotion, citizens shout "Stop Putin, stop war", thus sending powerful messages in the best possible way.
