Not one, but two skateboard tracks will be acquired this year in the district of Paphos. These are tracks that will be created in the Municipalities of Pafos and Geroskipou, within the framework of parks that are in progress.
In Paphos, the skateboard track will be located in the huge "Park of Colours", behind the main Papantoniou supermarket, differentiating the initial plan of the municipal authority that provided for the construction of this track on the plots of Ahmet Rasit.
This particular exercise and recreation project for the youth, had been requested by 60 students of schools in the city in writing with their representation to the Municipality of Pafos. In that letter to Phaedon Phaedon, the students stressed that they considered that the timing is good for the implementation of their request, since as they point out they observe the start of many projects in the city of Pafos in recent years.
The delegation of children had visited the Mayor of Pafos and handed him the relevant letter, signed by their classmates, with the request that their request be positively examined.
The corresponding infrastructure promoted in the neighbouring Municipality of Geroskipou, takes place in the context of the creation of the Andreas Stylianides Park offered to the society of Geroskipou by the company Korantina Homes.
