The roads leading to Troodos (Platres – Troodos, Karvouna – Troodos and Prodromos – Troodos) are closed to all vehicles due to frost and snowfall.
The following roads are open only to vehicles equipped with snow chains or with four-wheel drive:
Area of Morfou
Kakopetrias – Karvouna
Kakopetrias – Pinewood – Pedoulas
Pedoulas – Prodromos
Pedoulas – Kykkos
Pedoulas – Prodromou – Platres
Limassol District
Pera Pedio – Platres
Kyperounta – Karvouna
Agios Theodoros – Papoutsas
In the remaining areas, the road network does not present any particular problem for traffic. However, due to the rains, the road surface is slippery, so drivers are urged to be particularly careful, to drive at a low speed and to maintain a safe distance from the vehicles in front.
