For the seventh day, Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues, with Russian troops besieging Kiev, Kharkiv and Mariupol, while it seems that they managed to take control of the Kherson.
The fighting and the night that passed were fierce as videos on social media show continuous bombings mainly in Kharkiv.

Meanwhile, a map of the Ukrainian areas allegedly occupied by Russian forces in Ukraine, CNN reported.

"Almost a week since the invasion of Ukraine, Moscow forces have managed to make significant progress in border areas in the north, east and south of the country, but are entering at a much slower pace than they expected on their way to the capital Kiev.
Russian forces attacked key cities on Tuesday from various sides, escalating bombings in Kharkiv, the second-largest city in the northeast. They also managed to enter a port city in the south and it is possible that they have surrounded several others.
Russia also escalated its attacks on Kiev, with rockets hitting the Holocaust memorial. A rocket also hit a private maternity hospital near the city, which had already been evacuated.
At the same time, a ferocious 64-kilometre-long convoy with military vehicles is reportedly heading towards the capital, according to satellite images from Maxar Technologies."
