Developments in Kiev are rapid, as it became known a short while ago, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital announced that a curfew will be imposed from tonight until Thursday morning.
As the mayor said, it is forbidden to move to the city without a special permit and noted that all Kiev residents should be prepared to stay at home for two days, or in case of an alarm, in a shelter.
The curfew will start at 8 p.m. on Tuesday and will last until Thursday morning.
The mayor argued that Kiev is the heart of Ukraine, noting at the same time that it is the operational basis of Europe's freedom and security.
