IMAGES FROM THE AERONAUTICAL EXERCISE 'NOBLE DINA - 2022'

The annual multinational aeronautical exercise "NOBLE DINA - 2022" took place in the sea area southwest of Cyprus, with the participation of floating and flying means of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Cyprus, Greece, the USA, France and Israel, which was the host country. The exercise took place from 20 to 24 March, in the framework of the implementation of the Bilateral Defence Cooperation Programme between Cyprus and Israel for the year 2022.

According to an announcement by the National Guard, the scenario of the exercise included various training activities in a marine environment, such as Tactical Movements and Forward Manoeuvres, Escorting Of Warships, Anti-Submarine Warfare and Aeronautical Cooperation Operations, as well as a Search and Rescue exercise, under the coordination of the Search and Rescue Coordination Center (KSED) of the CCT.

As noted by the National Guard, in particular, the CCT participated in all phases of the exercise with the General Support Ship ALASIA, the Navy Command and in addition during the execution of the Search and Rescue incident, a helicopter AW-139, the Air Force Command, the Patrol Ship, TSOMAKIS and the Offshore Ship, IOANNIDIS of the Navy Command participated.

The exercise, which, the announcement concludes, is part of the network of international co-operations developed by the CCT, provides the opportunity to the staff of the NG and the CCC, to be co-trained with the Armed Forces of friends and allied countries, thus promoting interoperability and "highlighting the excellent relations between the participating states".
