No deaths of coronavirus patients were recorded according to today's announcement by the Ministry of Health. Therefore, the total number of deaths with the final cause of COVID-19 remains at 922. At the same time, 5,186 new cases were identified with the positivity rate standing at 5.02%.
- 151 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals of the CySEC
- 24 in serious condition (ICU: 0 out of snorkel/7 intubated, PPE: 17)
- Percentage of hospitalized patients without a history of vaccination: 52.32%
- 20 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 103,263 diagnostic tests were performed
- 5,186 new cases were identified (total cases 397,205).
- Positivity rate in total exams 5.02%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 3,859 molecular tests were performed
- There were 498 positive cases
- Positivity rate 12.9%
Total number of rapid antigen tests (Rapid Test):
- 99,404 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 4,688 positive cases
- Positivity rate 4.72%
Tracking:
- 366 molecular tests were performed and 61 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 16.67%)
- 802 rapid antigen tests were performed and 125 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 15.59%)
Private initiative:
- 1,742 molecular tests were performed, 367 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 21.07%)
- 42,374 rapid antigen tests were performed, 3,033 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7.16%)
Through the programmes of the Ministry of Health, 57,030 rapid antigen tests were carried out. 1,655 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 18,721 rapid detection tests identified 1,140 positive cases (positivity rate 6.09%)
Education
- Primary Education: 18,168 rapid antigen tests, 178 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.98%)
- Secondary Education: 10,949 rapid screening tests identified 90 positive cases (positivity rate 0.82%)
- Test-to-Stay: 6,012 rapid antigen tests were performed and 95 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.58%)
- Special Schools: 68 rapid antigen tests were performed and no positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0%)
Other
- Nursing homes: 1,427 rapid antigen tests were performed, 22 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.54%)
- Closed structures: 533 rapid antigen tests were performed , 3 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.56%).
- Government Agencies: 350 rapid antigen tests were performed and 2 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.57%)
