CLASSIFIED DATA FROM THE US - 2nd MAJOR RUSSIAN INVASION IS COMING

 Filenews 1 March 2022

U.S. government officials warned U.S. Parliamentarians during secret briefings Monday that a second wave of Russian troops in large numbers will likely consolidate the country's positions within Ukraine and be able to overcome Ukrainian resistance, according to two people with knowledge of the briefings.

Tragic scenes in Kiev

"This piece was disappointing," an MP told CNN.

The officials also said Russia is likely to besiege Ukraine's capital, Kiev, and predicted tragic scenes of civil war, said one of the people familiar with the matter.

Huge military convoy

The news reported earlier by the US company Maxar Technologies about the size of the military convoy that has approached the suburbs of Kiev, confirms the above US estimates.

Specifically, Maxar reported that the Russian convoy reaches a length of about 67 kilometres and consists of armoured vehicles, tanks, towed guns and other logistics vehicles, while it is located near the capital Kiev, Ukraine.

This American company has been monitoring the movements of Russian troops for weeks.

New satellite images released show that the Russian military convoy arriving on the outskirts of Kiev, Ukraine's capital, is even larger than had been broadcast earlier.

And according to its latest announcement, the length of the Russian vehicle reaches 67 kilometres, as opposed to the 27 kilometres that the company had announced earlier on Monday. The differentiation is due to the concentration and analysis of new satellite images, Maxar explained.

On a tightrope

Meanwhile, the war situation on the Ukrainian front is on a tightrope as Kiev and Moscow concluded the first round of consultations and agreed to return to the negotiating table in the coming days.

At the end of the talks, very powerful explosions shook Kiev, while Russia since the morning mercilessly pounded Kharkiv, Mariupol and other cities, with Ukraine talking about dozens of dead and at the same time President Zelensky signing the application for membership of the European Union.

"Tough answer"

Russia's President Vladimir Putin also warned the European Union with a "harsh response" regarding its decision to send heavy weaponry to Ukraine.

According to Reuters, Moscow says meaningfully that countries that send military equipment to Ukraine will be held responsible if the equipment is used during the Russian campaign.

At the same time, as the TASS reported, Russia underlines that "the EU's moves will not be left without a harsh response."
