Moscow's Lefortovo Court on Tuesday found Alexei Navalny guilty in a new fraud case, according to the Russian agency TASS.
"Navalny committed fraud, that is, the theft of the property of others with deceit," according to the verdict read by Judge Margarita Kotova.
Alexei Navalny, a top challenger to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been in a Russian prison for months for violating parole conditions, and his release is not expected in the coming years. He calls for anti-war demonstrations in Russia every Saturday.
He has been sentenced to another 9 years in jail.
