Three patients have died due to coronavirus, according to today's announcement by the Ministry of Health. At the same time, 3,698 new cases of Covid-19 were identified, with the positivity rate standing at 4.9%.
The deaths relate to:
- Man, aged 81, who died on March 20, 2022
- Man, aged 72, who died on March 20, 2022
- Woman, aged 101, who died on March 20, 2022
Total number of deaths with a final cause of COVID-19: 914.
- 143 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals of the CySEC
- 25 in serious condition (ICU: 0 out of breath/8 intubated, PPE: 17)
- Percentage of hospitalized patients without a history of vaccination: 58.05%
- 24 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 75,402 diagnostic tests were performed
- 3,698 new cases were identified (total cases 377,356).
- Positivity rate in total exams 4.9%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 2,906 molecular tests were performed
- There were 171 positive cases
- Positivity rate 5.88%
Total number of rapid antigen tests (Rapid Test):
- 72,496 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 3,527 positive cases
- Positivity rate 4.87%
Tracking:
- 930 rapid antigen tests were performed and 133 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 14.3%)
Private initiative:
- 1,028 molecular tests were performed, 116 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 11.28%)
- 27,981 rapid antigen tests were performed, 1,587 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.67%)
Through the health ministry's programs, 44,515 rapid antigen tests were performed. 1,940 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 41,132 rapid detection tests identified 1,800 positive cases (positivity rate 4.38%)
Other
- Houses of well-being: 72 rapid antigen tests were performed, 4 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5.56%)
- Closed structures: 2,381 rapid antigen tests were performed, 3 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.13%).
