The Pafos Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, is currently hosting 25 tourist operators from Jordan in order to further promote Pafos in the Jordanian market.
In the context of hospitality, ETAP has prepared a specific program of activities in order to give the opportunity to guests to get to know the touristic Paphos, to visit points of interest of the province, to be more informed about what Pafos has to offer as a year-round tourist destination and more.
At the same time, guests will be informed about the efforts made to further upgrade the infrastructure and the tourist experience, while presentations are expected to be made by audiovisual means.
Due to the all-time flights that exist between the two countries, ETAP considers that there is room for the development of various market segments from Jordan such as short breaks, specialized groups, expats, second home owners and others.
In 2019, Cyprus attracted about 18 thousand visitors and is connected to two flights a week from Paphos Airport and seven from Larnaka Airport.
