Confirming its good financial situation and its strong reserve as a result of the good management of the last years, the Municipality of Peyia proceeded recently to the acquisition of properties that belonged to the former Cooperative and are valued at almost three million euros.
These infrastructures, the Mayor of Peyia, Marinos Lambrou, told "F", will be used for the benefit of all citizens.
In particular, the municipal authority, according to Mr. Lambrou, has proceeded to the purchase of a property located in the central square of the Municipality in order to house part of its services at a later stage. In the same area, another premises have also been purchased which already houses the financial department of the Municipality.
"The Municipality of Peyia has recently bought properties from the Church for the purpose of reforming the central square", concluded Marinos Lambrou.
