A follow-up to the coordinated operations for policing Chlorakas was given on Monday night by the Police.
According to the spokesman and Head of the Pafos ICF, Michalis Nikolaou, during the operation, checks were carried out in various houses, apartment complexes and traffic controls. Two persons were found to be in violation of the decree of the Minister of Interior concerning the prohibition of the installation of applicants for international protection within that community.
A criminal case is being investigated against these persons, as well as the owner of the apartment complex where they were found to be staying, for violation of the relevant decree.
During the operation, 50 vehicles were stopped for inspection. According to Mr. Nikolaou, during the traffic police checks carried out, the members of the Police made 18 complaints, for various traffic offences.
The Pafos Police continue their examinations.
