The Ministry of Health announces that today, February 11, 2022, four people have died due to coronavirus, while 2,485 are the new cases.
Specifically:
- 4 deaths reported
- They concern:
- Man, aged 61, who died on February 10
- Woman, aged 90, who died on February 10
- Man, aged 91, who died on February 11
- Woman, aged 74, who died on February 11
- Total number of deaths with the final cause of COVID-19: 780.
- 184 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in the hospitals of the CySEC
- 43 in serious condition (3 in ICU/8 intubated, 32 in PPE)
- Percentage of hospitalized patients with no history of vaccination: 66.31%
- 31 post-COVID patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an Intensive Care Unit.
Diagnostic tests:
- A total of 115,325 diagnostic tests were performed
- 2,485 new cases were identified (total cases 285,943).
- Positivity rate in total exams 2.15%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
- 5,420 molecular tests were performed
- 316 positive cases occurred
- Positivity rate 5.83%
Total number of rapid antigen tests (Rapid Test):
- 109,905 rapid antigen tests were performed
- There were 2,169 positive cases
- Positivity rate 1.97%
Tracking:
- 633 molecular tests were performed and 64 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 10.11%)
- 1,321 rapid antigen tests were performed and 105 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7.95%)
Private initiative:
- 2,014 molecular tests were performed, 277 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 13.75%)
- 47,131 rapid antigen tests were performed, 1,333 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 2.83%)
Through the programmes of the Ministry of Health, 62,774 rapid antigen tests were carried out. 836 positive cases were identified.
- Sampling points: 18,341 rapid detection tests identified 423 positive cases (positivity rate 2.31%)
Education
- Primary Education: 21,037 rapid antigen tests, 115 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0.55%)
- Secondary Education: 11,738 rapid screening tests identified 95 positive cases (positivity rate 0.81%)
- Test-to-Stay: 6,273 rapid antigen tests were performed and 73 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.16%)
- Special Schools: 199 rapid antigen tests were carried out and no positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0%)
Other
- Nursing homes: 936 rapid antigen tests were performed, 18 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 1.92%)
- Closed structures: 1,678 rapid antigen tests were performed, 6 new cases were identified (positivity rate 0.36%).
- Government Agencies: 1,251 rapid antigen tests were performed and 1 positive case was identified (positivity rate 0.08%)
